A smile from you makes the world go round Yay! Finally Saturday is here. Away from school and those teachings! But apparently, I still have to mug for my math and social studies common tests. Plus some other class tests! Argh, tagboard is down. Can't tag. Have been studying since morning and now I am resting. Well, nothing much happen lately just kinda busy in school and stuffs. Did some catching up with Boon han yesterday. Hmm, don't get depressed over school yeah? There's a whole load of friends out there for you. Who are willing to share your problems with you. Lol, I can't help much though. Anyway, hope you will get over it soon! Love to see that bubbly and cheerful part of you again. Still missing YCF alot. I just love those days where we were always together with our friends. Meet ups and training together under rain or shine. Man, I seriously feel so lost after YCF. No more trainings every saturday and meetings. Tomorrow will be seeing my friends again! Feeling kinda sad though, wonder when will I get to see my friends again after this meeting. Sigh...

Where is the love? Had 2.4km running again! And it's giving me a splitting headache now. Argh, new PE teacher and he sucks. Well, shan't talk about it anymore. Didn't really run today because I didn't want to be in the road relay. LOL. That is how evil I can get. Don't want to run for my class. Thought that today's timing would be much worser than the previous one. Apparently, I was wrong. It was only a few seconds slower. Tsk no difference even though I walked alot. But I am not in the road relay anymore! I guess so. After school, went to Jurong frog and fish farms. We paid 3.50 bucks for one bottle of frog essence. Eww, I don't even dare to drink it. Oh yeah one more thing, I am so proud of myself! I actually touched the frog. You know the adult ones. Yeah, the skin was really slimmy and smooth. As if it went through a facial course or something. teehee. Highlights of the entire trip. We went into a room whereby the frogs are ready to be slaughter. Yucks, it's damn cruel la. First, they chopped off the head! Gosh, just imagine. They only had a chopper and a chopping board. The frog's eyes are still open. Ekk. I didn't even dare to see it. Freaking scary. Next, they chopped away the legs and peeled the skin away! Oh my, blood splattered everywhere. Cut the frog into two and guess what's next? The internal organs! Squeeze it out and the heart is still beating even though it's sperated from the body. Guess, the frog must be screaming for help. My my, never in my next life am I going to be a frog. One minute they are alive and the other minute they are dead infront of your eyes. RIGHT INFRONT OF YOU! How cruel is that! Poor thing. Next, headed to the fish farm. Hmm, nothing much though. Just saw this really huge catfish! And I mean really huge. Probably about 2 metres? Yeah, that fish jumped up alittle and it scared all of us. Tsk tsk. Guess, you are right... Anyway, got to run now. Till then bye!

Made a mistake. English common test was easy. Hopefully I can score an A1. *chants*. Anyway, just got back from training. OFFICIAL training starts today for me. Guess I was really dumb to heed your advice and kept 'ponning' trainings for three consecutive weeks. But, I have decided to change for the better and train harder for next year's competition without you guys. Just want to do my part and be a good player. Definitely, I can concentrate better now and I don't feel right being with them anymore. Distance between us have drifted even further. That feeling is back again, abhor it. CCA points are not included in our Os anymore. I know. But is that the reason why we can stop going for trainings? I thought... Whatever, I can't be bothered anymore. My skills dropped drastically. And I mean really lousy to the extend that I even lost a match to a sec 2 girl. Seriously, coach kept picking on me. However, I managed to endure for today's training. I mean can you imagine not going for any trainings for the past three weeks and suddenly you train for like four hours? Just imagine. I am so tired. Yeah, have to make the first move or else things will always remain the same or even worst. My interest for you is back. I made a right choice. PS. Boonhan, HQ2 post celebration meeting is this coming Sunday, 7pm at Tampiness ICA. Able to make it? lol. Yup, didn't see your message. =/

So much to do yet so little time. Okay I know I shouldn't be blogging now since I already have so much homework and tests coming up. Just taking a break now since I have been studying for 2 hours? Yeah, rather stressed up these few days. Got lots of A.math homework to be done and tests to be learn. Anyway, done with my A.math work which consist of four questions. FOUR questions and it is already killing me! I mean I completed it in about an hour? Lol, preety long I know. But I am so proud of myself! I know how to do all of them. Coordinate geometry wasn't that bad after all. teehee. English common test and Social study test tomorrow. Following week, E.math common test and Chemistry test. Argh tests, tests and more of them! You stink! haha. And now I don't have the mood to have fun with my friends on sunday. Get over it, Janice.

PHOENIX! Yesterday had meeting at Jurong centre. Yeah, met some of my phoenix mates. Unfortunately not all were there because some are in south region and they went to TBSC. Quite sad though. Saw Wilson. First thing he did was to hit my head with a paper. Lol, don't know why he did that for. The sight of seeing my friends again really did brighten up my day. Wilson and Serene were the Mcs. Wilson. Don't know how to describe. You should just see how he conduct the meeting yesterday. His handphone rang in the middle of the meeting. Tsk, negative example. Lol. Later we had our dance item again! Seriously I forgot some of my steps already. But, the fun was still there. The spirit of YCF is still there! Mabel shared her testimonial with us. Very touched by it. It's really fast that YCF is over in a blink of an eye. After all, YCF really did inspired me to have confidence in whatever I do and never fail to forget that there are friends around me who really care for me. I love FD. Months of trainings and now I am so willing to come out for activities. Unlike in the past, where I am reluctant to come out and socialise. After the meeting, dined with my phoenix mates and my ICs, Wan Ling and Pei Ling at Jurong Point. Had a hard time discussing where to eat. In the end we had our dinner at Banquet. Yeah, I enjoyed myself alot. We had ghost story to listen too! All thanks to Yan Deng, now I am alittle freaked out by it. I like the feeling where we all wear the same tee! Lots of people came asking us where were we from. Lol, kind of funny though.

What makes a great friend? A friend is someone with whom you can share good times as well as the bad. Choose wisely. Was glancing through 'Seventeen' magazine. And this week issue is about friendships. Yeah, totally agree with the statement above. Made lots of new friends during YCF. Been through those ups and downs with them during this journey. As well as my ICs like Wan Ling, Pei Ling and Florence. Though they are much older than us. But still, they are my good friends too. Phoenix itself, I have already found so many good friends who care and share for one another. Xue lian. She is a full time joker. Keeps up the spirit of Phoenix and yes a good talker too! Zi jian. Got to know him the last day of YCF though we are actually in the same group from the start. He is very adorable and he shares the same interest as me! Tabletennis. That's how we can clicked so well. Yan deng. He talked to me first and that's how I know him better. One nice and sociable guy to hang out with. His brother is in my school too! Helicia. From south region but she is in the same group as me. Found her quite easy going and sociable. Boon Han. From brass band but don't know how I got to know him. Ultra friendly and never fails to put on a smile on his face. Very enthu about SOKA meetings and activities. Went 3 shows for HQ 3 performance; that's how crazy he can get. But, I am very impressed about his spirit for gakkai and he is a good role model to me. =) Wilson, my 'brother'. Always hang out with him and he loves talking crap. He and Samantha were the one who created this 'Tou Fu' family. Currently, my blog song is Brand new by Shinhwa. My dance item song! By the way does anyone know how to make the song play repeatedly? I need help. Anyway Peeps, enjoy. Till then toodles.

Carnival Week It's been awhile since I last blogged. Was too busy lately because I was involved in my school carnival and I have lots of homework this week. Tuesday Songs dedication for everyone was played through the speaker during our respective recesses. Had songs like Tong hua, Lao shu ai da mi and lots more. These two songs really remind me of YCF. Seriously, memories flashed back my mind. YCF was indeed a memorable event. Guess, YCF is only the beginning of the journey. There's still more activities ahead of me. Even my friends are interested to know about it. =) Wednesday After school, we had our class debate against 3N2. I was the reserved though. Lol. However, we won in the end. Yeah, we were delighted but not 3N2. I should say Raymond Szeto have lots of question to asked uh? From his facial expression, I could see that he wasn't satisfied that our class won. Got in to Semi-finals. Tomorrow I will be one of the speakers. Ahh! We only have a day to prepare our relevant points and we are the opposition for the topic 'This house believes that there are too much violent in entertainment.' It's hard. Very hard to elaborate on. Thursday I was utterly nervous when it was my turn to speak up. My hands were practically trembling that I have to use both my hands to hold the cards. I knew that 3N2 wanted to give us a hard time. There were lots of questions streaming in one by one for us that I hardly have the time to write my answers. I knew they did it deliberately. Lol no offence though. We spread the message to 3E5 to help us out too! Anyway thanks guys who were there to support us. We knew that we wouldn't win when the fourth speaker, Christian opposed us. His words killed us all; we were actually out of point. Yeah, I admit I don't even know what I am talking about. Well, my class got the best speaker award. Jing Ying, great job. Yes, Wee Yang said I was a good speaker too! Thanks for that compliment. Mrs Dav didn't say I was a lousy speaker. She just said she didn't hear any rebut from me. Lol, which teacher would give such a comment? Lousy speaker? Laughs. Just to clear some doubts, Abigail. Unfortunately, we didn't make it to the finals. I think it doesn't matter who wins or loses what matters is the journey to success. I have really learned a lot from this debate. Great success for 3E5! They will be competing with 3N1, which I think it isn't much of a problem for them. The speakers from 3E5 are skillful. Friday Final round of debate, as expected 3E5 won! Yeah, almost everyone jumped for joy. Okay, lunched with Eugenia, Wee Yang and Jing Ying. Then went back home. Can't wait to meet my phoenix mates tomorrow. Sigh, some of my friends will be at TBSC because they are in SD/FD (South region) Can't take pictures with you guys. I miss everyone!

We are the Star HQ 3 performance was a great success too! Reached Toa Payoh around 3.30 pm? Was late because I was supposed to meet Boon han and his friends at 3.15pm! haha. The place was rather chaotic and crowded. And yeah, I saw Elvin too! We agreed to see if we can meet each other or something. Unfortunately, I didn't bring my phone along and by the time I got home he messaged me twice! Sorry anyway. Okay, met my cousin there too. She came to ask whether we need another ticket because she had an extra one. We were like ' Last minute already, don't know who to call either.' Funny thing is my cousin knew Boon han too! She was like we are cousins! Yeah, I must say Boon han have lots of friends in all HQs. Everywhere he go will always see familiar faces. By the time we enter the stadium, it was fully packed and we had to sit behind the performers. As in the back facing towards us. Oh well, it's okay because I really enjoyed myself. FD item was indeed fantastic! [Boon han you very high uh?] Saw lots of my ICs from HQ 2. Probably they went there to help support the FD item too. Seriously, I suddenly have the urged to stand up and clap at the end of the perfomance. They played lots of nice songs like 'Tou Diao' by Alex Wu? Yep, I really love that song. I was so excited that unknowingly I stood on the bench. Okay, I am ultra excited. My sis was damn lazy to stand up la, so we were like discussing whether or not to stand. Had enough, I stood up first. No choice, my sis followed me too. *Our happiness knew no bounds* :) Yeah, Boon han and his friend, Kenneth also enjoyed themselves very much. We wanted to join the rest on the stage but was kinda dissapointed when Boon han told me they will asher as out. So, we just had to stand near there and enjoy the whole atmosphere. Was rather pissed of when the asherer urged us to leave. But, have to understand because they only booked the stadium till 6pm. Took lots of photos too! Shall upload later.

Snap! Yesterday after school, I took quite a number of pictures with my classmates! I am beginning to feel that the bond between us is getting stonger. Yeah, I just love taking pictures with my friends. Currently listening to my YCF dance song. Brand new by Shinhwa, I can still remember the steps vividly in my mind. Sigh, it's been a week since HQ 2 performance and today it's the big day for HQ 3. I am sure they will enjoy as much as we do, those memories are the best things you can get in your life. However, the weather doesn't seems to be cooperating with us. Got to chant more guys! Have to do some research on debates. My friend gave me this short message 'The purpose of each speaker is to gain the belief of the audience for her/his side. Every debater is an advocate. Argument is the basic core of the debate speech; the superior debater must be superior in its use. His chief means of persuasion is the logical mode.' Yeah, it's so true! Guess I have to pratice more on my speech so I wouldn't stummer on the autual day. ![]() January babies! We looked retarded, I know. ![]() Uh, just promoting amaths. haha
Saturday, July 16, 2005 @ 9:42 AM
FINALLY Yes, my computer is finally over with all those virus and stuffs. Okay, got lots of things to blog though. Today had my 2.4km run. Seriously I don't feel well after all the runnings under the blazing sun. I am feeling so dopy and dizzy throughout the maths lessons. Had a change of time table again! Gosh, keep changing. I have four period of math lessons on Monday. Ahh, first time in my entire life I am having so many math lesson in a day. Die. haha. Came home, couldn't even do any of my a maths sums. So yeah, went to sleep for entire 2 hours and I am feeling much better now. Can you believe I got selected for my class debate? LOL! When my form teacher called out my name, I was like you sure you didn't call the wrong person. I mean I don't really talk that much in class. I am neither good in talking nor am I a confident speaker. Probably my teacher finds that I can speak fluent english la. haha. Thinking of debates, I find it kind of boring seeing people talking and arguing about one topic. Oh yeah, my topic is 'Are young people too sheltered nowadays?' My group is the proposition, which I think it isn't that hard to elebroate on. Suddenly, I feel so into school activities. But whatever, it's a good learning experience for me! Can't wait to watch HQ 3 performance! All right, I am feeling tired again. Lately I am always so tired, don't know why. Anyway, do I look like a christian? My friend said I looked like one. Uh?

Best day of my life! HQ 2 YCF was a total success! Both shows on Saturday and Sunday was fabulous! All right, on Saturday we weren't that high. haha.Don't know why. Seriously, the feeling wasnt that nice as comapared to the second day. Where we are the limelight for both days and spotlights are shining everywhere. heh super nice! Brass band did play well after all. Yeah, saw them practicing under the hot sun with their dark blue and black coloured uniform. But I was rather impressed when they played it on the field and most of us was like so engrossed with them. 3 cheers to them too! Second day. We had 2 shows so we had to arrive TPSH at 7 am. Though it was early but still many of us did arrive on time. Everything went well on the second show. But it started to rain heavily, we chanted even longer and louder. Yes, the spirit was finally there! I can feel it. Everything ended in a split second. YCF is over. Many of us cried including me. Was really sad that after 4 months of hardwork and all those regular meet ups is over. But, we started to play the 'train' thing! You know you have to hold your friend's shoulder to run around? lol I really love that! Then we had songs blasting out loud from the loud speakers, everyone was very high. After that, I went round taking pictures with lots of pictures! Like people from my PHOENIX group, Desmond from SD and Boon han from brass band! Yeah, we just took lots of pictures and exchange phone numbers too! Love you guys alot! Especially PHOENIX! WE ROCK ALOT!

London 2012 So London will host the 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. Yeah, as expected. London won Paris by 4 votes, a close fight indeed. Well, some current affairs for us to know about. haha. Pratically I am done with almost all my weekend homework. Got to do ahead of it beacuse I wouldn't have the time to do it on Saturday and Sunday. Yes, rather excited! ![]()
@ 6:59 AM
3 more days! It's 3 more days to YCF! Seriously, I am feeling damn excited already. I can't wait to be on the stage and dance with my friends. Uh-huh, I am so obsessed with the dance song that I have been replaying it many times. heh. Yeah, Brass band can do as well as SWE ( Soka Wind Ensemble). You guys can touch the audience hearts too. Like how the SWE impressed me during their performance at EXPO. Let's chant really hard for the wonderful success of YCF. He is ready, she is ready, we are ready! YCF here we come!
Wednesday, July 06, 2005 @ 9:40 AM
Oh- so BUSY Gosh, more homework! but it isn't piling up though. heh. Kinda busy for the entire week. There's alot of homework today but I have already finished all. haha. Okay this is what I have for the up-coming days. Thursday I have to go down to SYC for our last dance practice! (Quite sad though). Friday there's swimming carnival at bukit batok swimming complex and at night I have to go down to ICA which is at Tampines (1 hour journey ride again. Gosh!). Also our last Daimokukai for the great success of YCF. Seriously everything is the 'last time' for this week. So guys, we have to put in our best for this YCF! Uh- huh, Saturday is our big day! Yes, it's the actual show for HQ 2. And I am going to enjoy myself to the fullest! Yeah, have to reached TPSH by 12 noon. Sunday another performance but have to reach TPSH by 7 am. We have two shows on Sunday and yes closure for the entire YCF. Sad, very sad. But anyway, I am standing by my camera on both days. teehee. I love you guys alot! ' Snap snap!' Brass band is so cool.
Tuesday, July 05, 2005 @ 1:55 AM
It's the chance to say Yesterday's full dress rehersal at TPSH was really great but at the same time real hactic for me. Everyone was rushing here and there. Seriously the hall was like so small! Oh my, the participants are so close to the audience. Yeah, yesterday all the HQ 2 people were there to perform for the leaders to see. I must say that HQ 2 really need to brush up more, compared to HQ 1, the spirit is still not there yet. My dance item lasted for about three minutes. Thinking back, all the hard work for the last four and a half months is worth it. Performing infront of the audience the atmosphere is really high. Well, 5 more days to our big day. Feeling excited but on the other hand kind of sad too. It means that we can't have our regular meet up sessions at SYC or TBSC already. Will have to wait five years later. By then I will be in Student Division (SD). Made lots of friends during this journey. Been through those hard times together and of course I can say that my friends and I are much more closer now. I am really impressed by the gymcore and the YMD band. They had to perform for all three HQs. I really like the stunts by the gymcore, the team spirit in them really impressed me alot. YMD band was equally impressive. They had trainings every sunday. No matter how busy they are, they still find time to train together. Really, the songs they played at HQ 1 was nice! 3 cheers to them! What's after YCF?
Sunday, July 03, 2005 @ 11:58 PM
Can I get an encore? Yesterday's concert at EXPO was fantastic. The whole of hall 5 was full house. Those late comers had to sit at the platform. haha. The atmosphere was damn nice. Saw HQ 1 FD item, was really nice but the song doesn't bring out the hip hop in them. Their costumes was in yellow and black. Reminds me of the bee, HQ 2 ones are nicer though. Yeah, saw my sis Japanese tap dance. Kinda nice too. The audience was laughing at them because theis clogs were making funny noises when they were running out. The guest of honour was Mr Mah Bow Tan. Well, I know her daughter, Nicole. She was my sister's primary school friend. ![]() This was how grand it was ![]() The Itinerary
@ 12:05 AM
The moment It's a week more to YCF! Can't wait. Anyway later will be heading down to Sanja for my training. Think this is the third last of pratice. Four months just past by in a blink of an eye. Still remembered how reluntant I was back four months ago. I didn't want to join because I might be busy between my schoolwork and those remedials. Well, thinking of it again, I never regret joining it at all. teehee. After training, will be heading down to EXPO to catch the HQ 1 concert. Yes, the journey to EXPO by mrt is reeaaally far. It's about an hour journey. Bored. Think I can catch some sleep on the mrt and hopefully I won't miss the stop. haha. Hmm, yes this week is kind of hectic for me. Trainings and some last minute polishing of steps. Tomorrow I will be going to TPSH ( Toa payoh sports hall) from 1-6pm for full dress rehearsal. Yeah, I love it though.

All those memories so close to me Was looking through my primary six year book. Where all the graduating classes photos were there and some pictures of the Prom Night. It has been three years with me but I managed to keep it in good condition. Sadly, the pages had turned yellow but those memories will be kept deep in my heart. Seriously, while looking at it those pictures and the smiles on our face happy events seems to flash through back my mind again. I still remembered how sweet and gentle those voices were when we sang our school song. We also had Prom Night at the last day of school. Yes, it was the best moment of my life where all of us could dance all night with music blasting out loud from the speakers. I like being in all girls school, sleep overs and high tea. When I was in primary two, I always go to Wen Ting's house for high tea and party. Lol, there was once I was also invited to sleep over at her house. Cool huh? I miss those times we had. Six years have just gone past fast! Really wish time could reverse. |
